Website Traffic For Free
Q: What is the biggest secret of gaining traffic to your Website? How can I use this to my advantage?
A: This secret really isn’t a secret, but it is really underutilized by most of us. The secret is understanding why the visitors of your Website are really online in the first place. Knowing this will give you an advantage over others.
Here’s the answer: Your visitors are online because they’re looking for information.
Information on what or for what, you ask?
Information on products, services, anything basically that will answer their questions on specific problems, how certain products work, what others think of the products they are thinking about buying, information on anything and everything imaginable.
A popular way to entice visitors to your site is to provide information – in the form of articles – that they might be looking for. Once they get to your site because of the free information you’ve offered, they’ll look around and see what else you have to offer.
Write articles on topics that you know something about such as internet marketing, taxes, or how to get rid of those pesky computer viruses. You will want to write your articles on specific topics that range from 500 to 1500 words. These types of articles will draw you and your site to search engines like a magnet. You will also want to use other people’s articles (make sure they’re royalty free or used with permission or according to the conditions) that are related to your own articles, thus giving your visitors even more information on your specific topic.
The science and key to making articles work even harder for you is to making them so valuable that other marketers will search you out looking for other articles that you have written.
Having valuable information that other marketers find valuable will make them want to offer their own visitors your articles on their Websites. This will drive more traffic to your Website because the original marketer found it valuable and so will their visitors. Of course, you should always have a byline or signature at the end of every article you write with your own Website URL.
While, most of these articles have something useful to someone, in order to narrow the visitor search down to a more targeted niche of visitors, your will want to employ content in multiple forms.
Here are two options:
PDF Special Reports, and
Short Camtasia Videos.
PDF Special Reports are your articles expanded upon with further details and turned into a special report in a PDF (portable document format). You can use a free tool called PDF995 (http://www.pdf995.com/) to convert your Microsoft Word documents into PDFs. PDF995 works as another printer.
By using PDF995, you tell Microsoft Word to print your document and it chooses PDF995 as your printer. Then it turns your Word document into a distributable document in just seconds – one that can be read by anyone using any computer system, as long as they have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader which is loaded on virtually every computer when it is purchased. By using PDF documents, people place a higher value on them because they take longer to create and have a longer shelf life over a regular print article. Thus, your PDF document tends to get passed around longer than a regular article.
Make sure when you set up your PDFs you set up links back to your site. Make sure to make your links hyperlinks. This will give your readers the ability to go back to your site as they are reading your PDF document. Also give your readers an incentive to pass your PDFs around to others. Also if you are using a link that pays you commissions, your document is a brandable document thus making it go viral with no more help from you as your document is getting passed around by your readers if they find your information useful.
Camtasia is a screen capture software that allows you to record whatever you have on your screen. Camtasia Videos are used with your PDFs or articles. Add some pictures and sound with Camtasia and you have a video.
With Camtasia, you can demonstrate a piece of software, make a SlideShow, and add audio to your video presentation.
As you go through the process of what you are doing on Camtasia, you are recording it as you go.
With Camtasia, you are able to let your viewers go to any URL that you have in your presentation or even re-watch the taped piece if they need to. To get Camtasia: http://techsmith.com/.
Another way to create Web site traffic is to create a “buzz”site. This is a site that is creative, inspirational, cute or an information packed site that creates a buzz of people talking about it because it’s good at what it’s presenting. A buzz site is an excellent way for you to incorporate your favorite hobby, something about your pets, or content about what you know that can help people solve problems.
How To Generate Traffic Using Only Free Methods
Putting up a company Website requires many things. To get straight to the point, first you need capital. To make money requires spending money as well. Nevertheless, with the versatility the Internet offers, there are many ways that could help optimize the potential of your site or business in generating traffic.
While there are ways to jumpstart your traffic flow, many sites don’t have the resources to spend on advertising that would generate more traffic. Well, you don’t have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.
How sweet it is to have more site traffic without spending a single cent. Now it’s a sure thing that many sites have articles that offer tips and guidelines in how to generate traffic using only free methods. Typically when you don’t have money to spend on marketing, you should be prepared to take more time to use other methods. I’m not going to mislead you. You get better exposure with paid advertising, but at least you get a fighting chance with some of these free methods I’m about to share with you.
Take advantage of online forums and online communities.
The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits a certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss many things about the niche that you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.
With online communities and forums, you can build a reputation for your company. Show them what you can offer and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject. With that you can build a reputation and build trust with the people in your expertise and knowledge.
You can also use newsletters.
Give people a catalog of your products along with interesting and entertaining articles. If you give people quality content more people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who sign up for your newsletter, the more people there will be that will go to your site to check it out.
Exchange links with other sites.
You don’t have to spend a cent for this one. All you have to do is reach an agreement with another webmaster. By exchanging links, the efforts of both sites are combined for mutual benefit. All traffic that goes to one site could potentially click on the link of the other site and visit it site too. This works well, especially when both sites appeal to the same niche or compatible niches. A wedding planner’s Website, for instance, would benefit by having links to a Photographer’s Website and a Printer’s Website and a Caterer’s Website. It makes the wedding planner look knowledgeable and efficient, and the other professionals (the photographer, the printer, and the caterer) will certainly benefit from visitors that come from the wedding planner. They might even consider giving the wedding planner’s customers a discount!
Write articles that could pique the attention of people who have interest in your product.
Try to write articles that will provide tips and guides to other aficionados – give information that will solve their problems or help them with something they’re seeking. Good service and good information from you will help cement your reputation and your readers’ trust.
Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles.
When people find your articles interesting, there’s a good chance they will follow the links in your author signature and visit your Website. Always include a link or a brief description of your company with the article and there is a great probability that they will go to your site.
Write good content for your site.
Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that content should be done by a professional content writer. You could do your own, but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining and informational.
Generally, Internet surfers use search engines to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keyword searching to generate their search results. With the right keywords attached to your site, you could get high rankings in search engine results without spending much money.
All these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free.
All it takes is a bit of effort and a good bit of time. Learn all you can about the methods depicted here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that more traditional paid advertising would incur. Better yet, combine the two approaches for a slam-dunk.

NEW Co-op Advertising Network
Opportunity Overview What is it? EyeEarn is SFI's new advertising co-op. It's also an exciting new way to recruit affiliates and build lucrative residual income streams. EyeEarn's basic concept is for you to become part of our "personal advertising network," and get paid for advertising while just going about your day—driving your car, walking your dog, wearing T-shirts, or even just drinking coffee! Get seen–get paid! Getting started with EyeEarn is super-easy: Just purchase a $20 EyeEarn Starter Kit. The kit includes three EyeEarn banners for your car(s), an EyeEarn T-shirt, 100 EyeEarn X-Cards, and 20 EyeEarn mini-stickers (plus complete directions and a Getting Started Guide). Simply verify with SFI that you've outfitted your car with a banner. You'll then begin receiving a share of the fruits of the entire, worldwide EyeEarn advertising network! And this is where EyeEarn starts to really get exciting. As an active "EyeEarner," you'll also receive your share of new SFI affiliates signing up at the new EyeEarn.com Website. From every participating SFI affiliate in every country worldwide! For each signup you receive, you will be recorded as the SFI Sponsor, and you'll be eligible to receive all Sponsor benefits and commissions. This includes unlimited Executive Match Commissions and unlimited Team Match Commissions, which can be earned infinitely deep as your organization grows downward. You can also earn the following on each of your EyeEarn-generated affiliates: • Merchant Services Override Commissions (For complete compensation plan details, click here.) And these signups won't be coming just from the personal advertising of EyeEarn members. Three additional sources will be generating thousands of signups weekly: 1. Prominent EyeEarn banners at NiceOffers.com, TuneFlow.com, and other SFI Web properties we are developing. 2. All sign-ups from ClickBucks flow into EyeEarn.com. 3. We'll be employing banners on other Websites. We may also create radio and Cable TV spots to generate even more signups. As an active* member of EyeEarn, you will receive a share of all these sign-ups every month. And your only out-of-pocket cost is the ONE-TIME $20 Starter Kit cost! But it gets even better. EyeEarn is much more than just generating affiliate signups. We've also introduced MaxMalls, a brand new SFI shopping center that will work in conjunction with EyeEarn. MaxMalls (located at MaxMalls.com) is a portal to a variety of major, name-brand online stores. Our goal is to have THOUSANDS of stores in MaxMalls, representing virtually every store at which you shop. And as an active* member of EyeEarn, you will receive a share of ALL MaxMalls sales worldwide...every month! To create substantial sales at MaxMalls, we'll be aggressively promoting MaxMalls to the general public. In addition, all EyeEarners agree that when they shop online, they'll start at MaxMalls and have their purchases add to the sales pool. And of course, we encourage ALL of our hundreds of thousands of SFI affiliates worldwide to use MaxMalls whenever they shop online (and to tell their friends and family to do the same). At right are just a few of the great stores already in MaxMalls. Note that using MaxMalls takes you to the exact same stores as if you went to them directly. And the prices will be exactly the same as well. But by going through MaxMalls, your purchases will put money into the MaxMalls revenue pool, increasing your monthly share amount. Not only that, SFI will donate a portion of every MaxMall sale to the nonprofit organization, Save The Children. So by adding just one extra click to your online shopping excursions, you'll be helping yourself and you'll be helping children in impoverished countries around the world. A great win/win! For more information about MaxMalls.com, visit the MaxMalls.com FAQ. * Initial qualification for shares of EyeEarn requires purchasing the EyeEarn Starter Kit and sending us a photo (digital or hardcopy) of you with your car outfitted with an EyeEarn car banner. To continue to receive shares, you must log in at the SFI Affiliate Center monthly and complete an EyeEarn Reactivation Form. The Reactivation Form consists of a short questionnaire, 1-3 brief marketing surveys, a confirmation of your active participation in EyeEarn, and your commitment to doing your online shopping through MaxMalls.com. One or more miscellaneous additional activities may also appear on the Reactivation Form each month. You should be able to easily complete everything on the Reactivation Form each month in less than 15 minutes. So what could be better than receiving a share of EyeEarn every month? How about two shares? Or three...or even more?! We've made it easy for everyone to earn more than just one share. You can increase your EyeEarn signups and earnings further by qualifying for additional shares in one of eight ways: 1. Executive Affiliates (EA) automatically receive one additional free share (2 shares total). 2. Executive Affiliates with a minimum 10 SVP Standing Order automatically receive one additional free share (3 shares total). 3. Bronze Team Leaders** (BTL) automatically receive 2 additional free shares (5 shares total). 4. Silver Team Leaders** (STL) automatically receive 4 additional free shares (7 shares total). 5. Gold Team Leaders** (GTL) automatically receive 6 additional free shares (9 shares total). 6. Platinum Team Leaders** (PTL) automatically receive 12 additional free shares (15 shares total). 7. Additional shares can also be earned for retail sales and personal purchases based on Sales Volumes Points (SVP). For each 10 SVP earned above your EA-qualifying 10 SVP, you'll automatically receive one additional free share. EXAMPLE: Buy or sell 30 SVP of any of SFI's products and services in any one business month, and you will receive two additional EyeEarn shares. 8. Loyalty Bonus Shares. For every year you have been at the Executive Affiliate (EA) rank or above, you earn one additional free share (up to 5 shares total). Note: To quality for Loyalty Bonus Shares, minimum EA rank must be maintained CONSECUTIVELY. That is, you have to be at least an EA for 12 straight months to earn one share, for 24 straight months to earn two shares, and so on to 60 months and 5 shares. If at any time you drop below the EA level, your loyalty months count is reset to zero. The EyeEarn Extra Shares Program is powerful program to help you grow your team and commission check: • It encourages your affiliates to upgrade to EA and maintaining EA status every month. ** You must meet all qualifications for this rank and have a minimum 10 SVP Standing Order Note: Additional shares can also be purchased for $35 each HERE. You've seen how the EyeEarn Co-op works. Now here's how EyeEarn can be a powerful direct recruiting system for you as well. After all, EyeEarn is a fun, cool program in which millions of people will want to participate. As noted earlier, the EyeEarn Starter Kit comes with 100 EyeEarn X-Cards (and you can order extras here). X-Cards are one of the best recruiting tools because they can be used in so many different ways. Note: EyeEarn X-Cards use a special Website (EyeEarner.com) that will redirect to EyeEarn.com, but first the prospect is required to enter your SFI ID number from the card (you'll stamp or print your SFI ID number in the gray box). Here are nine great ways to recruit affiliates using EyeEarn X-Cards: 1. Give them out to friends, family members, co-workers, associates, etc. 2. Put a card in every outgoing piece of mail you send out (like electric bills, water bills, NetFlix/Blockbuster DVD returns, etc.). 3. Leave a card with your bill/tip each time you dine at a restaurant. 4. Whenever you take a taxi or ride public transportation, "forget" a card on the seat for the next passenger to find. 5. Post cards on public bulletin boards in your area grocery stores, fitness centers and gyms, college student unions, 6. Insert cards in books about making money, etc. at your local bookstore(s). When the book is purchased or browsed, your card will be found by someone who will likely be interested in EyeEarn. 7. Contact owners of small retail stores and arrange to have them give a card to every customer with their purchase receipt when they check out. Pay them three to 10 cents for each card they distribute for you. 8. Contact direct mail companies or companies who ship goods and arrange to have them put a card in every order they ship. Pay them three to 10 cents for each card they distribute for you. 9. Contact local restaurants that deliver food (pizza, Chinese food, sub sandwiches, etc.). Offer to pay them three to ten cents for each card they distribute to customers for you with their deliveries. You'll probably also want to keep some EyeEarn X-Cards in your car and/or on your person. This way, when people ask you about the EyeEarn banner on your car, or the EyeEarn T-shirt you're wearing, you can just hand them one of your X-Cards. This directs the signup right to YOU instead of going into the general co-op rotation. Of course, we have a complete arsenal of other EyeEarn Direct tools to recruit with, too, including: 1. An EyeEarn Gateway Website: http://www.quickinfo247.com/8051555/EE 2. EyeEarn E-Cards. (Coming in January) 3. A variety of EyeEarn banners and text ads you can use on the Web. 4. EyeEarn postcards for direct mail campaigns. (Coming in January) 5. Printer-ready EyeEarn flyers. All of above items use your SFI ID number so you can directly sponsor any signups you generate. Visit the SFI Affiliate Center for more information and/or to order. Also available at www.cafepress.com/eyeearn are a wide variety of EyeEarn hats, mugs, buttons, mousepads, and other gear you can use as conversation starters (use these items to generate inquiries, then "close the sale" by handing the prospect an EyeEarn X-Card stamped with your SFI ID number). CUSTOM DOMAIN PROGRAM For those who'd like to get really serious about recruiting with EyeEarn, you can get a custom EyeEarn domain featuring your name or other keyword(s). The EyeEarn Custom Domain program opens the door to a wide variety of other marketing/advertising options. You can have your custom domain printed on thousands of differerent promotional items (pens, keychains, magnets, calendars, mugs, mousepads, etc.) that you can use as free giveaways. You can get customized, magnetic car signs, full-color postcards, X-Cards, fliers, posters, and more. Generate massive exposure with a billboard; sponsor sporting events and concerts; or outfit local sports teams with customized EyeEarn uniforms. The possibilities are endless! See Custom Domain Program (pdf) for complete details. To get started, order your EyeEarn Starter Kit HERE. For more details on EyeEarn, please read the FAQ page HERE. |
New SFI Store Update
• ONE store for everything. The new store will service both SFI affiliates and retail customers alike. Everything from nutritional products to Internet services to SFI promotional materials.
• Thousands (soon tens of thousands) of new products in dozens of new categories, plus closeouts, collectables and hard-to-find items available nowhere else.
• Earn instant SVP on EVERY product in the store...including all SFI promotional materials like X-Cards, postcards, business cards, etc.
• Exclusive, money-saving daily deals ("Deal Of The Day").
• Special weekly/monthly sales with special discount prices.
• New products added daily.
• You can promote the store as a whole, or any individual product in the store, or any department, or any selection of products of your choosing.
• No longer do high shipping costs need to get in the way of becoming EA or making sales internationally. This is because the new SFI store will be utilizing new partner companies who will be shipping to you directly from outlets around the world. Additionally, through the store's Private Seller program, you can locate sellers and products located in your same country—even the same city!
• Because of how it's being built, virtually anything can be added and sold in the store. Goods, services, downloadable software and media, you name it! The sky's the limit!
• The new SFI store also allows you to sell YOUR stuff. Through the new store's Private Seller program you can quickly, easily, and cheaply convert stuff you no longer want or need...into stuff you do! List your stuff at the new store, and sell for cash....or for any product in the store. You can even earn EA status each month selling unwanted items around your house! Use the new SFI store as your online garage sale to clean out your closets, attics and garages! List and sell dozens or even hundreds of miscellaneous items easily.
• Hot, new marketing program will allow you to easily generate lifetime retail customers by the hundreds! And earning EA status though retail sales will have never been simpler or easier!
• Standing Orders, on thousands of products, will be available both to affiliates AND retail customers. If you place an order containing any Standing Order-Eligible product, you'll automatically be alerted how to set up a Standing Order for that item in seconds.
These are just SOME of the amazing features the new SFI store will come with. And there are many, many, many more. Not only that, the new store is also going to usher in some powerful new enhancements to the overall SFI program including substantial simplification, bigger bonuses, and more incentives to become and remain an EA.
Stay tuned for further details!
